Rajma
Ingredients
1)2cups Of kidney beans soaked overnight
2)6Tomatoes
3)Ginger 1inch cut into julienne
4)Green chillies 2-3chopped finely
5) 2Onions (optional) chopped finely
6)Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
7)Salt to taste
8)Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
9) Chilli powder 1tsp
10) Amchoor powder 2tsp
11) Coriander powder 2tsp
12)Cumin seeds 1tsp
13)Hing1/4 tsp
14)Coriander leaves for garnishing
15) Oil 3 tbsp
Method
1)Boil the kidney beans and keep aside
2)Heat oil, crackle cumin seeds and put hing
3) Add finely chopped tomatoes, ginger and green chillies
4)Fry till oil separates. Add all the spices
5) Stir for few minutes
6)Pour it on boiled rajma, Add tamarind paste
7)Simmer it for 10 minutes
8)Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice.

Bruschetta

Bruschetta

2 tomatoes finely chopped.
1 tbsp chopped corriander leaves
1 tbsp chopped basil leaves
Salt
Pepper
Vinegar:1 tbsp
6 slices of garlic bread or any bread.

Method:
Combine all the ingredients excepting bread and keep it in refrigerator for half hr.
spread little butter on bread slices.Toast the slices of bread using an oven at 250°keep them aside
At the time of serving put 1 tsp of prepared mixture over the bread slices and serve.

Veg mexican kidney bean salad

1 1/2 cups boiled rajma (kidney beans)
1/2 cup tomatoes finely chopped
1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
1/4 cup chopped spring onion greens
1 tbsp corriander leaves
1 green chilli

To Be Mixed Into A Dressing
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
Method
1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.

1. Just before serving, add the dressing and toss well.

1. Serve immediately

Ingredients (1 cup = 250 ML)
for bhaji:
* 1 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp butter
* 3 tomato finely chopped
* ¼ cup peas / matar
* ½ capsicum finely chopped
* 2 potato boiled & mashed
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 tsp + ¼ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder / lal mirch powder
* ¼ tsp turmeric / haldi
* 1 tsp + ½ tsp pav bhaji masala
* 1 tsp + 1 tsp kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves
* 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chop ped
* 1 tsp ginger garlic paste(optional)

*corriander leaves
* 1 onion finely chopped
* ½ lemon juice
* 3 drops red food colour optional
* water to adjust consistency

Instructions
1. firstly, in a large kadai heat 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp oil.

2)add vegetables:

a)tomatoes

c) green peas

d) capsicum

e) potato

cook  well.

add salt and turmeric also

3)cover the pan with a lid.

2.Also mash the above ingredients well.now add 1 tsp chilli powder,1 tsp pav bhaji masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi and 2 tbsp corriander leaves.
3. heat a tbsp of butter in another pan.

 

4)add ¼ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp pav bhaji masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi.
4. also add , 1 onion and ½ lemon juice. saute well.

 

5. Mix saute onions with the vegetables.cook for 5 minutes adjusting water consistency.

6. finally, serve bhaji with pav

Method

For the green pea stuffing
1)Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan

2)a) Add boiled green peas (matar)
b)add salt.
c)Mix green peas and salt well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

3)Mash the green peas

4)Transfer the mixture into a bowl and allow it to cool slightly.

5)Once cooled, add thick curd ,chilli sauce and mix well.

How to proceed

 

1)Cut the bread slices in a round shape with the help of a katori.

2)Place 3 bread roundels on a flat surface, add ½ tsp green chutney over them.

3)Spread 1 portion of the green pea stuffing over 1 bread roundel

and sandwich with another bread roundel with the chutney side facing upwards.

4)Place 3 cucumber slices and sprinkle a little salt over it.

5)Sandwich with the 3rd bread roundel with the chutney side facing downwards.

6)Repeat steps 1 to 5 to make 3 more sandwiches.

7)Serve immediately.

Ingredients:

Sugar:1 tsp
Mint leaves:8-10
3 tsp sugar syrup
4-5 icecubes
1/2 lemon cut into 4 pieces
Soda to fill the glass

Method:

1)Take a tall glass.add the following ingredients
a)sugar
b)lime pieces
c)mint leaves
d)sugar syrup

2)Muddle the above ingredients with back of the spoon so that all the items are mixed properly.

3)add ice cubes.

4)fill the glass with soda.

5)stir it and your mocktail is ready.

1tsp strawberry crush
1tbsp vanilla icecream
Orange juice
soda
ice cubes
Mint leaves

Procedure


1. Take a tall glass. Add the following ingredients:
a) strawberry crush
b)vanilla icecream
c)ice cubes
d)mint leaves.

Stir well the above ingredients.

2)Fill 3/4glass with orange juice

3) then fill it with soda .

4)Stir well and your mocktail is ready.
